Michigan State prevents Michigan from earning final Number 1 seed

As I clearly stated early in the season, never ever count out Tom Izzo in March.

The Spartans 69-55 win over Michigan in the Big Ten tournament final game was really impressive.
We will find out shortly how that impacts the seeding, but either Virginia or maybe Wisconsin could slide into that fourth and final Number 1 slot.

Gators chomp their way to SEC crown, overall number 1 seed

Whew, what a close ending involving Florida and Kentucky down in Atlanta.

Some great offense and excellent defense in this one, but for the first time since Joakim Noah was a senior in 2007, the Gators clamped down and forced one final turnover just as the buzzer sounded preventing Kentucky from winning.  The 61-60 final means that Florida will be the overall number one seed entering the 2014 Men’s Division One Basketball Tournament.

Full analysis of the brackets later tonight!  Please don’t be late, don’t hesitate.
