Just in case you have Golden Globe Awards or Tina Fey/Amy Poehler withdrawal symptoms, there was yet another upset in college basketball on Sunday night.
Langston Morris-Walker of Oregon State converted on a layup with 26.9 seconds remaining to break a 56-all tie, as the Beavers upset seventh ranked Arizona in Pac 12 play at Corvallis. 56 percent shooting will definitely keep your team in plenty of games, and this was a true statement win for the program–largely with the former eight year head man at Montana in Wayne Tinkle looking to help the Beavers land their first berth in the Big Dance since a quarter century ago back in 1990.
As more upsets are reported–I will try my best to recap them and give the overall picture on whether or not they will be classified as either Stock Up or Stock Down.
The teams that lost on Sunday didn’t suffer too much, but big time Stock Up goes to North Carolina State. The Wolfpack is definitely back in Raleigh, but only time will tell if they are tournament worthy.
Pleasant dreams, everyone.
