Two off-the-court violations in less than a year was simply too much.
We all remember in fall 2014 when Holt’s car struck fellow player Devin Davis.
Although the police report did not show him at fault, Tom Crean still suspended him for the first two games. Holt finished with averaging 3.6 ppg and 3.0 rebounds per game.
Freshman Thomas Bryant was also found 11 days ago in the police report for possession of alcohol is currently dealing with internal disciplinary measures and will probably miss a significant chunk of playing time this upcoming season. Couple that with Davis transferring in early June to Odessa College in Texas, this leaves the Hoosiers with only five players with significant Big Ten experience:
Ryan Burton, 6’7″ 215 lb. junior from Bedford, IN
- Collin Hartman, same height and weight as Burton, but he calls Indianapolis home
- Hanner Mosquera-Perea, 6’9″ 225 junior forward from Istmina, Colombia
- Stanford Robinson, 6’4″ 200 sophmore guard from Landover, Maryland
- Troy Williams, same height and weight as first two players mentioned above, but he went to high school in Hampton, Virginia.
