No Frank Kaminsky or Sam Dekker means Wisconsin slumps out of the gate

While you were sleeping (and again, all thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Pairs over the tragic and horrific events that took place during the rock concert and other locations on Friday night)…

Thanks to 54 percent shooting and gutsy rebounding, Western Illinois upset Wisconsin in Madison 69-67.  Leading the way for the Leathernecks was J.C. Fuller’s 20 points and Garret Covington with 16.

With Wisconsin returning only 38 percent of their scoring from last year’s National runner up team, it is going to be a very long and frustrating year in Badgertown.

And halfway around the world in front of Yao Ming and other Chinese dignitaries, Washington upset Texas in Shaka Smart’s first game since leaving VCU 77-71.
