Syracuse suspension update

Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim to begin his suspension soon, not in January as first reported by CBS Sports and other broadcast/online outlets in March

Well, I guess the Syracuse faithful better be careful not to see any lumps of coal outside their homes and apartments come Christmas Day.

The NCAA did in fact uphold the nine game suspension on Thursday (of which you can read the general details in one of my earlier blogs from the spring of 2015), but it will start with Syracuse’s next game.

The suspension will end in time for the Orange’s fourth ACC conference game, against Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels on January 9 inside the cavernous environment that is the Carrier Dome.
