Only two small upsets of note on Thursday night

In the Big Ten second round, Nebraska upended Wisconsin 70-58 in Indianapolis.

Otherwise, most of the higher seeded teams prevailed out of the 61 games that were played across this great land of ours.  The high scorer of the day was Buddy Hield, who scored 39 points in Oklahoma’s close shave 79-76 win over Iowa State at the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City.

The final upset of note was Ben Bentil scoring 38 in Providence’s 74-60 win over Butler at the Big East Tournament in New York.

Good night, and I hope to chime in sometime on Friday if and when more upset occur.

If not, look for a small preview detailing all 14 games that will decide automatic bids on Saturday.  Take care, everybody.
