CBS really got their money’s worth today.
Yale almost squandered a 13 point lead before allowing Baylor two chances to at least tie the game. In the final seconds, a sloppy turnover in the paint along with a couple of missed shots allowed Yale the chance to seal the game at the free throw line.
The final score was 79-75, as Yale wins its’ first ever NCAA Tournament game in four tries. Purdue is in a rough and tumble affair in Denver against Arkansas-Little Rock and Kansas appears to have victory well in hand against Austin Peay.
