BLOG EXCLUSIVE: My Initial Picks for the 68 Teams Hoping To Make the 2017 NCAA Tournament

SONG SELECTION:  Streets of Laredo, “Silly Bones”

Taken from their October 21, 2016 album release titled, Wild

Similar to years past, I have listed each of the schools alphabetically by conference to make it easier for fans to read on their smartphones, laptops, or desktops.

The list was gathered largely from looking at many various preseason polls found online throughout October into early November.  I found Sports Illustrated, Sporting News and the Associated Press polls most helpful.

Each multi-bid league will have an * that will indicate which school that I believe will receive that conference’s automatic tournament bid come the period between March 3 and 12 (but those particular schools may not necessarily dominate during conference play in the season’s Dog Days during January and February).
