Final Stock Up/Stock Down For The Season

Hello again, everybody.

While winter is back in a big way for most of the northern parts of the United States, I hope you can get a chance to settle in a bit and enjoy some wall-to-wall college basketball over the next three days.

Here are the schools, at least in my mind saw their stock go way up since the beginning of the month and which ones are seeing their bubbles burst–this again, according to some key bracketologists on television and here on WordPress.

Stock Up:

Kansas (although their position of having a Number 1 seed will probably remain intact after Thursday afternoon’s shocking loss to TCU).

The rest of the Stock Up teams include:  Villanova, North Carolina, Gonzaga, Wichita State, Oregon, Louisville, Kentucky, Baylor, and Bucknell.

Stock Down:

Illinois State, St. Mary’s (California), BYU, Syracuse, and Clemson.

Although there will not be any automatic bids up for grabs on Thursday or Friday, there will be still be some interesting games to check out.  Again, most games are available on the ESPN family of networks.  In addition, select games will also air on BTN, the Pac-12 Network, and the SEC Network.  All games are also available for streaming on mobile devices via the Watch ESPN app.

Bubble Teams to keep an eye on Thursday include:

Virginia Tech, TCU, Xavier, Utah, California, Alabama, Vanderbilt, and New Mexico State.  Enjoy the games, and I will be back tomorrow to update the conference tournament picture.
